A Journey to the Ends of the Earth
After a beautiful, sunny summer, the wine-tasting evenings returned at the gourmet restaurant.
To mark the occasion, Sandrine and Andrea chose to take you on a journey to two places around the world: Italy and Chile.
From Nero d’Avola, Chianti, and Pecorino to Chilean Carmenère and Chardonnay, the journey was filled with new discoveries.
The chef also served up some truly surprising dishes that perfectly complemented the wine pairings.
Surprising pairings included a white Prosecco with a Morteau sausage carpaccio, Caromb figs, and balsamic vinegar.
During the evening, Andrea and Lou Anne introduced you to the various vintages.
You’re familiar with the generosity of L’Etang du Moulin; unfortunately, we couldn’t include every wine in the tasting (there were already eight that evening), so we organized a self-guided tasting session featuring 3 wines and 2 liqueurs—of course, always with guidance from our sommeliers—which could be likened to a “Franche-Comté-style tasting.”
It was an evening filled with good cheer, camaraderie, discovery, and sharing—just like all the others.

What would an evening of Provence wines be without sunshine?
Our teams asked themselves the same question you did, and the result was a truly successful evening.
The event began with a tasting and cocktail hour on the terrace, followed by dinner indoors.
Guests were able to taste Provence wines—white, red, and rosé.
Among all these vintages, a few premium wines were showcased and, most importantly, tasted!!!
An evening accompanied by the song of cicadas and the traditional straw hats of Provence.
Cod tartare, chanterelle mushrooms, duck, and raspberries—Chef Jacques Barnachon’s various pairings perfectly complemented our sommeliers’ wine selection.

An evening of discovery!
With this first wine from the “Vouvray” appellation, Andrea chose to surprise our guests! Indeed, the Marc Brédif estate produces a still Vouvray.
Continuing with a play on textures centered around scallops and a Muscadet Sèvres et Maines, the briny notes served as the unifying element for this final aperitif.
A Constant Exchange!
Between renowned wines from prestigious appellations and dishes that were anything but ordinary, the exchange between the sommelier and the chef kept our guests engaged.
A Sweet Finish.
With a dessert featuring strawberries and rhubarb, the light, fruity notes of the Sancerre rosé brought this lovely evening to a close with yet another delightful discovery.

Part One: "Wine Tasting"
What could be better than enjoying a tasting in a friendly atmosphere? Our guests had the chance to sample all the wines featured that evening—and more! With three tasting stations, they were able to learn more about the different wineries and the various vintages on offer.
A Custom-Designed Meal
The chef tailored his dishes to pair perfectly with the wines! But don’t worry—the classics were there: foie gras, langoustine bisque, “à la Royale” style dishes… everything was designed to delight the palate.
Wines for Everyone
With dry and sweet white wines, red wines, and sparkling wines, there was something to suit everyone’s taste!
