Fishing on the pond

On-site fishing in our private 5-hectare stocked pond (carp, pike, bream, roach, tench) is reserved for guests of the hotel, restaurant or gîte, to ensure their peace and quiet.

Authorized fishing

No Kill fishing is permitted.
All fish caught must be returned to the water immediately, except bream. Catch and release is forbidden. Fishing with livebait, spoons and artificial lures is prohibited.

Hooks

Hooks must be barbless to avoid damaging the fish. Each angler is entitled to three rods.

An easy 1.5 km loop takes you around the Étang du Moulin. This flat, shady trail is ideal for a family walk.

You’ll often come across fishermen, ducks and sometimes even a heron. It’s a great opportunity to recharge your batteries while enjoying the calm and beauty of the site.

Forest trails

Several forest paths lead from the pond to the surrounding forests, in particular the Bois de la Joux and the Massif du Risoux.

These routes, varying in length from 5 to 15 km, allow you to immerse yourself in a generous natural environment, with majestic fir trees, peaceful clearings and moss-lined paths.

Bike tours
or mountain biking

The region also offers signposted mountain bike trails, some of which pass through Bonnétage and l’Étang du Moulin.

The moderate terrain makes it possible to combine effort and pleasure, with routes adapted to different levels.
